National-Level Program for Persons with Disabilities to be Held in Jaipur on World Disability Day

 



Jaipur, November 26, 2025: In a significant move to promote inclusivity and celebrate the talents of persons with disabilities, the Indian Disabled Association (IDA) will organize a national-level program on World Disability Day, December 3, at the Rangayan Auditorium, Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur. Participants from all over India will come together to showcase their art, talent, and professional skills, making this event a unique platform to highlight their abilities. The program will be graced by Governor Haribhau Kishanrao Bagde as the chief guest.


Objective: Empowering Talent and Promoting Inclusion
At a press conference on Wednesday, Govind Narayan, National President of the IDA, and Devendra Kumar Sharma, National Chief Advisor, explained that the primary goal of the program is to provide persons with disabilities a national stage to demonstrate their talent, confidence, and social contributions. The event aims to strengthen the message of inclusion and social sensitivity, encouraging society to recognize and support the potential of differently-abled individuals.


Poster Launch Ceremony
The official event poster was unveiled by notable dignitaries, including Dr. Atul Gupta, International Coordinator of the All India Goshala Cooperation Council; Pawan Goyal, President of Gopalpura Business Association; Samiksha Jain, Event Coordinator & Chairperson of the National Women Protector Board; Vishnu Mittal, Rajasthan Head of the IDA; along with Pandit Sanjay PatariaShilpi Agrawal, and educationist Kamlesh Soni. Entertainment professional Shalu Sagar also participated in the poster launch ceremony


Honoring Remarkable Contributions
As part of the event, individuals who have made a significant difference in the lives of persons with disabilities will be recognized and honored. 21 distinguished personalities will receive awards



  • 10 persons with disabilities will be awarded the Disability Pride Award (Divyang Gaurav Samman).
  • 10 other outstanding individuals contributing to the disability sector will receive the Disability Light Award (Divyang Jyoti Samman).
  • One exceptional personality will be honored with the highest accolade of the Indian Disabled Association, the Divyang Ratna, for extraordinary contributions to the field.


This program is expected to inspire society, showcase the achievements of persons with disabilities, and reinforce the importance of inclusion and accessibility across all spheres of life.
