Jaipur, 21 November. The Rajasthan Grameen Aajeevika Vikas Parishad (Rajivika) organised a special dialogue programme focused on women’s empowerment and livelihood enhancement in the Sanganer block of Jaipur. The event was chaired by Rajivika State Mission Director Neha Giri.
Project Director Priti Singh, Sanganer BDO Jyoti Prajapati, State Project Manager (MIS) Anand Prakash Sharma, Jaipur District Project Manager Anupama Saxena, and Thikaria Sarpanch Manju Choudhary were present on the occasion.
Divisional Commissioner Poonam and CEO, Zila Parishad Jaipur Pratibha Verma also visited the stalls set up by women entrepreneurs.
Key Discussions & Presentations
The District Project Manager presented details of major initiatives including Raj Rasoi, Namo Drone Didi, Solar Didi, Lakhpati Didi, and the sanitary pad unit operated under the Vikas CLF. Discussions were held on strengthening wholesale procurement and marketing through Bagru Print, cow-dung-based products by Gau Kirti, wooden craftwork, and incense sticks produced using flowers from Akshardham Temple.
Market linkage strategies—such as direct supply of products to mid-day meal kitchens, hospital canteens, anganwadi centres, and hostels—were also highlighted. The achievement of 2,338 Lakhpati Didis in Jaipur district was prominently showcased.
Women participating in the fair included artisans and entrepreneurs engaged in blue pottery, Bagru printing, wooden painting, cow-dung paper craft, sanitary napkin production, and the BC Sakhi model. They shared that they are now running enterprises independently, with significant growth in their monthly and annual income. Many have emerged as Lakhpati Didis, bringing positive social and economic changes to their families and communities.

In her motivational address, State Mission Director Neha Giri said, “Women are the true identity of Rajivika. We should now envision companies where women themselves are directors and shareholders.”
She emphasized the importance of digital literacy, internet usage, insurance coverage, and financial management.
