Jaipur, January 22, 2026

After a gap of 13 years, Jaipur is set to witness the historic Jineshwari Diksha ceremony under the guidance of Acharya 108 Prasann Sagar Maharaj Sangh. The grand ceremony will take place on Sunday, January 25, at the Rajasthan Housing Board Ground, VT Road, Mansarovar, Jaipur. Alongside, an eight-day Bhagwat Jinendra Maha Archana Mahotsav and World Peace Mahayagya Ritual (Shri 1008 Charitra Shuddhi Mahamandal Vidhan) will be organized from January 25 to January 31, 2026. Extensive preparations are underway for this major religious event.

At a press conference held at the Digambar Jain Temple, Gayatri Nagar, Acharya Prasann Sagar Maharaj explained that the journey of a saint begins at the temple and leads to salvation, while the journey of an ordinary human remains from home to the cremation ground. He emphasized that a Digambar Jain saint is the same outwardly as he is inwardly, and that Digambar discipline represents the greatest renunciation in the world. He said that Charitra Shuddhi Mahamandal Vidhan is the most effective method for purifying the mind and atoning for sins, which everyone should participate in.

The Acharya stated that the Jineshwari Diksha ceremony will begin at 10:00 AM on Sunday, January 25, 2026. During the ceremony, Kshullak 105 Varni Naigam Sagar Maharaj will receive Muni Diksha, and Kshullika 105 Vrat Prabha Mataji will receive Aryika Diksha. This event is particularly significant as Jineshwari Diksha is being held in Jaipur after 13 years.

Subhash Chand Jain, President of the Jaipur Stay Committee, and Vinod Jain Kotkhawada, General Secretary, informed that this is Acharya Prasann Sagar Maharaj’s first visit to Jaipur after being elevated to Acharya, while he had previously visited in 2018 as a Muniraj. The eight-day ritual will involve 1,234 Arghyas (offerings), and approximately 6,500 devotees will participate, including 5,400 women in yellow sarees and 1,100 men in yellow dhoti and dupatta, performing collective worship of Jinendra Dev.

On the first day, a grand Rath Yatra will be conducted from the Shri Adinath Digambar Jain Temple, Meera Marg, Mansarovar, to the main venue. The procession will feature idols of 12 Tirthankaras, along with elephants, horses, camels, bands, devotional groups, and enlightening tableaux. 108 ceremonial welcome gates will be erected along the route, where dignitaries, elected representatives, and senior officials will perform Mangal Aarti.

The event venue is being developed over 40,000 square meters, with seven large domes. A main pandal measuring 450 × 132 feet is being constructed along with a three-tier stage of 100 × 100 feet. For the smooth execution of the event, a 19-member main festival committee and 33 management committees have been formed.

In addition, under the guidance of Acharya Prasann Sagar Maharaj Sangh, Jaipur will host its first-ever Vivah Anuvrat Sanskar Camp on Sunday, February 1, 2026. This camp will guide couples with 5 to 20 years of married life on marital conduct, harmony, coordination, and principles for a successful and balanced married life.

Acharya Prasann Sagar Maharaj also shared that he has been organizing monthly fasting campaigns in collaboration with Baba Ramdev, and that February 7 will be celebrated as Fasting Day, promoting a disciplined and healthy lifestyle. Since 2003, he has traveled 1,25,000 kilometers across India through his Ahimsa Sanskar Pad Yatra, spreading messages of non-violence.

The press conference also featured the official release of multicolored posters of the Jineshwari Diksha, Bhagwat Jinendra Maha Archana Mahotsav, World Peace Mahayagya, and Vivah Anuvrat Sanskar Camp. Prominent committee members and community representatives were present during the poster launch.

This historic event marks a significant occasion for the Jain community in Jaipur, with large-scale participation and comprehensive arrangements to ensure a grand religious and spiritual experience.
