Jaipur, January 22:
Jaipur is all set to become a paradise for automobile and heritage lovers as the 27th Edition of the Vintage and Classic Car Exhibition and Drive will be held on 24 and 25 January 2026 at the iconic Taj Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur. The prestigious annual event is being organised by the Rajputana Automotive Sports Car Club (RASCC).
Around 100 vintage and classic cars from different parts of the country including Jaipur, Sikar, Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai and other regions of Rajasthan will participate in the grand exhibition. The event has earned international recognition and attracts car connoisseurs, tourists, and heritage enthusiasts from across India and abroad.
RASCC Vice President Mr Sudhir Kasliwal highlighted that the continuous support of the Rajasthan Government and the Department of Tourism has played a crucial role in making the event successful year after year. Meanwhile, Club Secretary Mr Avijit Singh Badnore expressed gratitude to the Tourism Department and Taj Hotels for providing the magnificent Jai Mahal Palace as the venue, which adds unmatched grandeur to the show.
The cars will be judged by Chief Judge Mr Shrivardhan Kanoria from Kolkata, accompanied by Mr Adhiraj Singh from Jaipur, across three categories—Vintage, Classic and Modern Classic—based on originality, maintenance, rarity and provenance.
Some of the star attractions this year include a 1929 Bugatti, 1957 Bentley S1, 1950 Jaguar XK 120, and a 1973 Pontiac Firebird, along with exclusive collections from renowned collectors in Jaipur and across India.
On Sunday, 25 January, the much-awaited Vintage and Classic Car Drive will be flagged off at 11:00 AM from Taj Jai Mahal Palace by Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Transport & Road Safety, Dr Prem Chand Bairwa. The drive will pass through prominent city routes including MI Road, Statue Circle, Ambedkar Circle and Chomu Circle, allowing citizens to witness these magnificent machines on Jaipur’s streets.
The event will conclude with a prize distribution ceremony at 3:30 PM, to be attended by Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Mr Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, along with noted automobile patron Mr Diljeet Titus.
