Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy attended the Mumbai Climate Week International Conference, where he highlighted Telangana’s developmental achievements and its strong commitment to sustainability.

The conference, co-hosted by the Government of Maharashtra along with global stakeholders, provided a platform for states to present their strategies for environmentally responsible and future-oriented growth.

Reaffirming that economic progress and environmental stewardship must go hand in hand, the Chief Minister positioned Telangana as a future-ready and investment-friendly state committed to sustainable infrastructure, clean energy expansion, and responsible industrial development.

A Landmark Dual Global Strategy

In a major announcement, the Government of Telangana unveiled a landmark dual global strategy:

“Take Telangana to the World” and “Bring the World to Telangana.”

As part of this vision:

Telangana will serve as the Official Partner State at the IIFA Weekend & Awards 2026.

Telangana will host IIFA Utsavam in Hyderabad from 2026 to 2028.

In a historic move for India’s cultural diplomacy and creative economy, the Government of Telangana, under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, announced a multi-year partnership with the International Indian Film Academy.

This first-of-its-kind collaboration aims to unite Indian cinema on a powerful global platform while strategically positioning Telangana as a leading hub for culture, creativity, tourism, and the creative economy—reinforcing its emergence as India’s cultural and creative capital.
