108 kg Milk Abhishek performed on the eve of Hanuman Jayanti, Mahagaddi ceremony to be held today

 


Jaipur. On the eve of Hanuman Jayanti, a grand abhishek of Balaji was performed with 108 kg of milk at Badpipli Balaji Dham located in Jhotwara RIICO area, under the guidance of Mahant Pramendra Nath Maharaj. The deity was also adorned with an elaborate and devotional decoration.

Mahant Pramendra Nath Maharaj informed that on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, a Mahagaddi ceremony will be organized at the dham for public welfare. Thousands of devotees are expected to participate, offering coconuts and praying for the fulfillment of their wishes. The Mahant will perform traditional rituals, including “jhada” (spiritual healing), to bless devotees with peace, happiness, and prosperity, and sacred threads (dora) will also be distributed.



Program coordinator Sarveshwar Sharma stated that there is a long-standing belief that devotees who receive the “jhada” during the Mahagaddi ceremony experience relief in mental, physical, and social difficulties. He added that the Mahant performs rare spiritual rituals lasting up to 400 days, and through the spiritual energy gained, provides relief from even the most difficult ailments.

Arrangements for the event are being managed by members associated with the dham, including Rakesh Kumar Sharma (Metropolitan Coordinator, Nomadic Community Work), Pratap Bhanu Singh, Ram Singh Shekhawat, Radheshyam Sharma, Narendra Singh, Vishnu Sharma, Aniruddh Singh, and Vikram Singh Rundal. All efforts are being made to ensure that thousands of devotees attending the event face no inconvenience.
