Jaipur (City Reporter):
Serious concerns were raised over the deteriorating condition of the Hindu community in Bangladesh during an important meeting held on Saturday at Shri Ram Temple, Raja Park, as part of the ongoing Maa Baglamukhi Mahayagya, which commenced on December 17. The meeting strongly condemned the atrocities being committed against Hindus in Bangladesh and demanded immediate intervention by the United Nations.
During the meeting, participants also observed a collective prayer for the peace of the soul of a Hindu youth killed in Bangladesh, expressing deep anguish and solidarity with the affected families. Speakers unanimously stated that the issue is not confined to any one community but represents a grave human rights crisis that should concern the entire global community.
Addressing the gathering, Peethadhishwar of Shivshakti Dham Dasna and Mahamandaleshwar of Shri Panchdashnam Juna Akhara, Yati Narsinghanand Giri Maharaj, said that Sanatan Dharma is currently passing through a critical and decisive phase. He described the atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh as acts that shame humanity itself. He emphasized that the United Nations must abandon its silence and impose strict economic and diplomatic sanctions on Bangladesh.
Yati Narsinghanand Giri Maharaj stated that systematic efforts are being made to suppress the ground realities in Bangladesh, but the facts emerging are extremely painful and alarming. He warned that continued silence on such issues could prove dangerous for the future. He further informed that the Gita Mahakumbh, scheduled to be held on December 21, would provide a platform for serious deliberation on current national and global issues through the philosophical guidance of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita.
He also highlighted growing concerns over atrocities against cows, increasing threats to the safety of women and children, and the continuous erosion of Sanatan values, stating that remaining silent in such circumstances is no longer acceptable. He called upon saints, social organizations, and patriotic citizens to unite and provide a clear ideological direction to society.
Speaking on the occasion, National Hindu Mahasabha President Vijay Kaushik said that the present time demands not just discussion but organized awareness and ideological strength. He stressed the urgent need to connect the younger generation with the Gita, Sanatan culture, and national duty. He also emphasized strengthening the social and cultural role of temples and religious institutions, while adopting a firm constitutional approach against activities that are anti-national and anti-Sanatan.
Several prominent social workers, Sanatan thinkers, and citizens, including Chandraprakash Agarwal and Raju Boxer, were present at the meeting. It was unanimously decided that the Gita Mahakumbh on December 21 at Shri Ram Temple, Raja Park, will witness participation from saints, religious leaders, thinkers, and youth from across the country.
The conclave will focus on in-depth discussions regarding the current state of Sanatan Dharma, the condition of Hindus in Bangladesh and other parts of the world, national integrity, cultural preservation, and social consciousness. The event aims to deliver a strong public message to guide society in the present times.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the organizers appealed to Sanatan followers, youth, intellectuals, and patriotic citizens across Jaipur and Rajasthan to participate in large numbers in the Gita Mahakumbh and strengthen the collective resolve to protect religion, culture, and the nation.
