SRN International School, Jagatpura successfully organised a one-day “SRN Youth Fest–2025”, transforming the campus into a vibrant hub of ideas, dialogue and youthful energy. With participation from over 500 students, the festival emerged as a powerful platform for nurturing leadership qualities, entrepreneurial thinking, democratic values and global awareness among the youth.
The Youth Fest was conceived as an experiential learning initiative aimed at preparing students for real-world challenges beyond textbooks. Through carefully designed competitions and interactive sessions, the event encouraged students to think critically, communicate confidently and collaborate effectively—skills that are essential for the leaders of tomorrow.
A Distinguished Gathering and Inspiring Inauguration
The festival was graced by renowned media personality RJ Kartik as the Chief Guest, whose presence added both inspiration and enthusiasm to the event. The programme was attended by Chairman Ravi Shankar (Retd. IFS), Director Usha Sharma, Cambridge Directors Ravisha Agarwal and Apar Sharma, and Principal Pallavi Tandon, along with teachers, coordinators and invited guests.
The inaugural session set the tone for the day, highlighting the school’s commitment to holistic education. SRN Shark Tank: Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship
The SRN Shark Tank competition witnessed students presenting innovative startup ideas that addressed real societal and economic challenges. Participants showcased business models rooted in sustainability, technology, social impact and youth-driven solutions. From ideation to execution strategies, students demonstrated remarkable confidence, creativity and analytical skills.
The competition reflected the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, encouraging students to think independently and develop solutions that could contribute to national growth. The judging panel evaluated participants on innovation, feasibility, presentation skills and problem-solving approach.
The team of Yashi and Swasti emerged as winners, securing the first prize of ₹11,000, for their well-researched and impactful startup idea. Their presentation stood out for its clarity, originality and potential for real-world application.
Mock Parliament: Learning Democracy Through Dialogue
The Mock Parliament session provided students with a dynamic platform to understand the functioning of democratic institutions. Participants assumed the roles of parliamentarians, ministers and opposition leaders, engaging in structured debates on contemporary issues.
The session offered valuable insights into parliamentary procedures, policy formulation, constructive dissent and responsible governance. Students displayed impressive articulation, logical reasoning and respect for differing viewpoints, reflecting a mature understanding of democratic values.
Sara Dixit won the first prize of ₹11,000 for her compelling arguments, leadership presence and in-depth understanding of parliamentary processes. The session reaffirmed the importance of dialogue, tolerance and informed debate in a democratic society.
SRN Diplothon: A Window to Global Affairs
The SRN Diplothon, a simulation of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), brought global issues to the forefront. Students represented different countries and deliberated on pressing international concerns such as climate change, global peace, human rights and sustainable development.
The Diplothon highlighted the complexities of international diplomacy and the importance of negotiation, collaboration and empathy in resolving global conflicts. Participants demonstrated strong research skills, diplomatic communication and cultural sensitivity.
Vikram Aditya Singh Rathore secured the first prize of ₹11,000 for his outstanding diplomatic skills, strategic thinking and persuasive articulation. His performance was widely appreciated for balancing national interests with global responsibility.
Encouraging Words from the Chief Guest
Addressing the students, RJ Kartik praised the initiative and the enthusiasm displayed by participants. He stated that today’s youth is aware, innovative and solution-oriented, and platforms like Youth Fest provide the right direction to their energy and ideas.
