Jaipur, 12 December 2025:
The second day of the 10th International Conference of the Indian Academy of Health Psychology, underway at the Rajasthan International Centre, Jaipur, witnessed an intellectually stimulating and highly engaging series of events. The day stood out for its rich academic discourse, constructive deliberations, and meaningful participation from scholars across the country.

The proceedings began with a significant plenary session chaired by Prof. Prerna Puri, Head, Department of Psychology, University of Rajasthan, alongside eminent academician Prof. Sandeep Kumar from BHU. The session set the tone for the day by highlighting the emerging trends and pressing challenges in health psychology.

Experts underscored the growing relevance of mental health services and emphasised the need for evidence-based research to navigate the complexities of contemporary life.

A total of 350 offline and 50 online research papers are expected to be presented during the conference. The findings from these research presentations will provide crucial insights and help chart future directions on several contemporary psychological and health-related concerns.

Key presentation themes included:

  • Integration of traditional and alternative systems in healthcare
  • Organisational behaviour and holistic health
  • Influence of sports, physical activity, diet, and lifestyle on mental health
  • Emerging issues in stress, coping styles, and stress management
